Visiting a Medieval Castle

I recently visited a Medieval castle, called Fagaras Castle, in the city of Fagaras, in Romania. What’s very interesting about the castle is that it’s surrounded by water all around, like the classic castles with a moat. The inside of the castle is a museum and you can see all of the cool things they found in the exhibits.

Fagaras Castle Exterior

This is the castle from the exterior, surrounded by water. You have to cross a bridge to get to the entrance.

A special dining room

The dining room, much cooler than your typical dining room. They renovated the interior of the castle and it looks great.

Stuff for war

All kinds of spears and war equipment that I'm very glad we don't use anymore!

Conference room

This is a conference room where kings and lords gathered to discuss the state of affairs.

The wooden throne, with the fish symbol associated with the castle and the nobles who ruled there.

What do you think?
