With the Winter Olympics underway, I was reminded of our visit a few years ago to the U.S. Olympic Training Center (OTC) in Colorado Springs. While the purpose of our visit was to attend a swim meet, we were able to peruse the grounds a bit between events. That said, you don’t have to be an athlete to visit the OTC. Official tours are available year round. The Colorado Springs OTC can house upwards of 500 coaches and athletes at the 35 acre facility. At an altitude of over 6000 feet above sea level, the facility provides an intense training ground for U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
A great image of the U S O C headquarters.
