Top 10 most famous places to visit in England

The country is fascinated by its magnificent history, the world’s most famous universities, exceptional nature and ever-increasing interculturality. England has a thriving tourism industry: the established airports make it easy to travel to a wide variety of destinations.

What to see? I listed some famous places but you still can visit even more: Big Ben, Soho, Madame Tussaud Wax Museum, Seven Sisters Creek Rocks, Oxford, Cambridge University.

Probably one of the favorites and most commonly eaten dishes in the UK is fish & chips. It is fish cooked in a crispy shell and served with potatoes and sauce. Quick and delicious food, but carefully choose the place where you eat them, as many of the best restaurants do not have a good version of this dish. When you think about breakfast, think about an English breakfast! Prepare your stomachs for true breakfast!

Stonehenge

Windsor Castle

Warwick Castle

Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site

  1. Very beautiful and enticing pictures. I especially like Stonehenge and Jurassic Coastline Heritage Site. I think those are the best areas to visit if you want to really enjoy the nature aspect of England. Of course all the architectural marvels of England are a must to visit also.
