The Continental Divide is the meandering geographical line that separates North America. To the west of the divide, the watershed eventually finds it way to the Pacific Ocean. To the east of the divide, the watershed makes its way to the Atlantic Ocean. U.S. Highway 6 in Colorado will take you over Loveland Pass which has a scenic overlook where you can view the “divide”. Check the weather forecast before you go. Weather on the Pass can be vastly different than what Denver, CO or Boulder, CO is experiencing.
