The center of Sofia, Bulgaria

The center of Sofia, Bulgaria.

A morning walk in the city center…

Unfortunately, the weather is quite unpleasant – there is a cold wind and it is raining at night.

There are few tourists who take pictures amid buildings built modeled on the Soviet architectural from 50s of 20th century.

At the western end is the monument of St. Sofia – the patron saint of the city.

At the eastern end of the square is the former Party House, a building built for the Communist Party headquarters.

After 1990, the building was given to the Bulgarian Parliament for cabinets of deputies.
