One year, on our way up to Wisconsin, we stopped in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Tucked within the city itself is Minnehaha Falls Regional Park. The beautiful Minnehaha Falls are located close to the parking area, and there are hiking trails to explore. The falls are a distinctive feature of Minnehaha Creek which feeds into the Mississippi River. Based on our limited exploration, the hiking trails get more rustic the farther you venture our from the falls, but the all the trails that we investigated were well maintained. In some respects, you can almost forget that you’re in the middle of a large metropolitan area. The park was a great find. For more scenic views, check out the video above.
Seems like a gorgeous place!
Wow! Crystal clear water showing the red rocks. Lovely, excellent photos. Clear voice-over about your exploration of the Minnehaha Falls and the river. Thank you!
What an incredible place to visit. Thanks for the video.
