I visited New York City for the first time last year, and the highlight of my trip was my visit to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Here I am, inside the Immigration Museum on Ellis Island.

A long ago like around 1976 when my relatives and myself were on vacation visiting New York City to visit relatives from my late dad’s side of the family.
The Immigration Museum is a beautiful building, isn’t it? I was particularly interested in it, because my Irish great-grandparents emigrated to America, and Ellis Island was probably the first place they landed at that period.
