The Hohenzollern Bridge

The main railway bridge across the Rhine - with access for cyclists and pedestrian as well.

A look back at Cologne Cathedral

The River Rhine as dawn breaks

The Hohenzollern bridge from the south

Thousands of padlocks!

These are are on the fence that separates walkers and cyclists from the railway tracks. But why would anyone clip a padlock to fence? I haven't a clue!

Padlocks on the fence is a great picture!

I have never been to Cologne, but it is on my list for future wanders!

Lovely night views. Latvians hold Song and Dance Festivals every year in various countries When I was a teenager and Latvia was still not a free country the European Latvians held the festival in Cologne which in Latvian is known as Kelne and one of their concerts was held in the big cathedral,
