Cable Car Trip to Alanya Castle, Turkey

Alanya castle annually attracts thousands of visitors, especially mass of them come in summer months. In order to facilitate access of the castle by visitors, the head of the Alanya decided to build a cable car. It was opened just a few months ago, in 2017 and from the first day it was attracting many tourists and locals. People are choosing cable car not only because of easier access the famous Alanya Fortress but also because it is like an attraction to ride by cable car and look at the city from the bird’s flight. Going up and down to the hill you can see stunning pictures of the whole Alanya city, the beaches, and the sea.

Just rise up by new funicular to the hill, stroll by set trails to the fortress, take a time to look around, spend as much time as you want and come back to the place where you departed when came up to the hill. Wait till comes a car and go down the hill. Enjoy beautiful views again. It’s easy and funny at the same time. So, try this new way to see Alanya Castle…

  1. What a convenient way to see the sights and save one’s legs. They used to have something similar to this at Disneyland in Anaheim when it opened, but I forget what they called it. I loved that look from above. I don’t know if they still have that ride. I haven’t been there in decades.
