Begin by creating various email accounts on free servers in nicknames. These accounts will be used for various online sites, primarily Facebook and other such data thieves.
The use of Nicks is to protect your identity from those who would exploit you, scam you, and victimise you.
Whatever sites you currently belong to under your real name, rejoin with the new email and under a nick name.
If you belong to Facebook (as well as other sites) as Real Name you now join as Nick Name. Alert your real friends that this is now you, and then, immediately delete your Real Name Account.
By Real Friends I mean people you have had coffee with; that is people you know personally in Real Life.
