There is some good news in the dark cloud that surrounds the 2017 National Football League (NFL) season with the handful of football players protesting by not holding standing up during the playing of the Star Spangled Banner over reports of police brutality and the Neilsen ratings showing a small drop in the first week of the current football season.

Miami Dolphins owner Stephen M Ross who has the majority owner of the Miami Dolphins since 2009 has promised to donate $1 million dollars along with several corporations in the Miami and surrounding areas that were affected by Hurricane Irma recently.

The Miami Dolphins first week football game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that was scheduled to be played on Sunday September 10, 2017 has been postponed until November19, 2017.

I am sure Ross is doing this gesture of donating some of his money to help rebuild the damages that Hurricane Irma as an act of goodwill to the victims of one of the worst natural disasters that hit South Florida in recent memory.
