College football power rankings – week 3

The only team missing in this college football power ranking is LSU, which had a tremendous performance against the Auburn Tigers. Defeating them in the last few seconds of the game. The Oklahoma Sooners are an amazing team, but the LSU performance topped the Sooners performance versus the Iowa State Cyclones in week 3, why? When you think about it Auburn is a much more accomplished team than the Iowa State Cyclones, and ranked!. And to top it off, LSU went to Auburn territory and defeated them versus Oklahoma visiting Iowa State, which I believe that the LSU win is a more worthier win to be considered in this top 5 power ranking. And besides, the Iowa State Cyclones are not even a top 25 ranked team. You can even throw in that LSU has defeated two ranked teams versus, Oklahoma defeating none at the moment, but only time will tell as the weeks go on.

Furthermore, I’m highly impressed by the Alabama Crimson Tide, as always! Prior to the showdown against the Ole Miss Rebels, I was one of those college football enthusiasts who thought that the Rebels would pull off the upset, but once again Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide shocked us by defeating the Rebels, 62-7. Another team that I enjoyed watching during week 3, who now ranks 2nd is the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Buckeyes went head-to-head with the TCU Horned Frogs in an amazing match-up between two teams that are very similar. I was able to watch this match up via YouTube, plus at the same time read many tweets about it on Twitter. In the end it was the Buckeyes who defeated the Horned Frogs, 40-28.
