Borussia Dortmund 2-1 PSG: Champions League Recap

source

Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland has already proven that he is the best transfer signing in January by scoring both goals to his team the 2-1 victory at home in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Knockout Round of 16 against Paris-St. Germain (PSG).

Haaland scored his first goal in the 69th minute off of a shot deflected off of a PSG defender.  Haaland was the first to react to the deflection with a quick toe poke for the 1-0 lead.

PSG tied the match up in the 75th minute when Kylian Mbappe ran past three defenders and slotted a pass from the right to Neymar, who easily placed the ball in goal with a tap-in.

However, Dortmund caught PSG napping after the goal.  When play started back up, Dortmund moved the ball quickly to an open Gio Reyna.  Reyna was able to run about twenty yards forward untouched.  Then, he sent a pass over to Haaland, who sent a rocket into the left side of the goal for the win.
