Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland has already proven that he is the best transfer signing in January by scoring both goals to his team the 2-1 victory at home in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Knockout Round of 16 against Paris-St. Germain (PSG).
Haaland scored his first goal in the 69th minute off of a shot deflected off of a PSG defender. Haaland was the first to react to the deflection with a quick toe poke for the 1-0 lead.
PSG tied the match up in the 75th minute when Kylian Mbappe ran past three defenders and slotted a pass from the right to Neymar, who easily placed the ball in goal with a tap-in.
However, Dortmund caught PSG napping after the goal. When play started back up, Dortmund moved the ball quickly to an open Gio Reyna. Reyna was able to run about twenty yards forward untouched. Then, he sent a pass over to Haaland, who sent a rocket into the left side of the goal for the win.
This guy is the new rising star … he scores naked with ease …. I don’t think PSG should have a problem in the return game even though the Germans are never ahead to write off
It helps that PSG scored an away goal. Plus, Icardi did not play for PSG. The problem is that Haaland will score again
I don’t think Borussia is so good at the away games
PSG has to win this time. They should win easily in Paris
I think that they will win too. For some reason, Icardi did not play
Leipzig beat Mourinho. I did not know they were a good team. I do not believe Tottenham will win in Germany with such score
Yes, the Bundesliga is a little bit better than what it was five years ago. All the younger players between 18-25 go there to play now instead of waiting ten years to start at Real Madrid
Enjoy the games my friend!
