Third One Day International between Bangladesh and South Africa is also underway (East London) and after winning the toss, the South Africans easily managed to set up a huge target yet again i.e. 369 for the loss of only 6 wickets. When the South Africans were batting, the wicket looked a perfect batting surface but when Bangladesh came out to bat; it was a different story altogether.

Quinton de Cock and Faf du Plesis both batted superbly and contributed with 73 and 91 respectively, with Faf remained not out; he was forced to get retired hurt due to a hip injury. A.K. Markram, who had his debut game today, also shined with a maiden half-century and contributed with well-made 66, that included 4 boundaries and 2 sixes.

In reply, Bangladesh had a very shaky and poor start as their first 5 batsmen even failed to get into double figures and in 14.3 overs, they were 61 for the loss of 5 wickets. It was Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib ul Hassan, who along with Sabbir Rahman, took the score from 61 to 105 in 26th over. Right now Shakib is not out at 53 with the help of 7 boundaries while Rahman’s contribution is 18 in the partnership, which is now worth 44.
