All the bells whistles went off on the severe weather alert. No kidding. We had 16 inches of new snow when we went to bed last night. It is pretty clear that it was not going away all the sudden, be calm and wonderful this morning. It was still snowing when we went to bed. I suppose a travel advisory for those who don’t live here and may be traveling make sense, but you don’t need to sound the alarm here. We are aware. We can see it, feel it and experience. At the bottom of the alert to lets you know how much they were paid to tell us what we know. $17,000.00. What a travesty of money thrown away.
Yes Carol it is and this morning we’ve added about 3 1/2 more inches. I am glad there will be water this summer.
And I am griping about the cold weather in Southwest Louisiana that stiffens my lower back if I do not have proper layers of clothing on.
It is deep and dangerous, but I live the in mountains because I love them.
