Spotted redshank (Tringa erythropus).
It is rare in Bulgaria, but can be seen during migration or if it stays for the winter.
Adults in the autumn-winter period are gray with black spots, whitish below.
I filmed this bird in the “Pod” while we were in hiding for observation.
He moved very gracefully along the bottom of the pond, constantly digging with his long beak for food 🙂
I have very few shots with my beak above the water!
