Right before the eclipse, the backyard glowed an eery green. I felt rather odd when this occurred, like something had gone wrong with my eyes! The leaves left half-moon shadows. The green glowed brightly. The air was slightly warmer. The sun seemed to burn through the flesh. I could not look at the sun, I was afraid to. The birds had flown into the trees and bushes. All the animals seem to seek cover from the sun. A quiet fell around the crowd as the moon slowly covered the sun, then total darkness. I have never seen anything like it.
Nature always has charm, especially with the various phenomena of rare events.
