Lone Lily by Christin F. Burton
A lone lily quiet, still. Resting in the sun until.
A rustling ripple ruined it’s rest. Causing lily to protest.
No one listened. There was no peace. It seemed the winds would never cease.
The waves heaved it up and down. The swirling winds spun it round.
When finally wind turned to a breeze, and all the chaos began to ease.
Lily smiled and once again showed it’s petals to it’s friends.
