Jay is intelligent and resourceful bird that is able to assess the situation.
Once noticed danger, she utters a warning cry that is recognized by all forest dwellers.
So it often thwarts attacks of predators that rely on sneaking unnoticed to reach their prey.
It is very adaptable bird and successfully adapt to the urban environment, especially if there are around acorns, which are her favorite food.
