EPA believes that glyphosate is OK

Have you ever heard of the sayings, “What you don’t know will not hurt you” or “Ignorance is bliss?”  Well, these sayings are completely wrong because the US Environmental Protection Agency does not want you to know that glyphosate has been proven to be a carcinogen.

Glyphosate is a chemical that is in the herbicide known as Roundup.  The weed killer is made by Monsanto.  After Bayer bought Monsanto last year, over 18,000 lawsuits have been filed against Bayer because the use of Roundup gave people non-Hodgkins lymphoma.  Without a warning label on the product, people use the weed killer without knowing that the product is killing them along with the weeds.

For some strange reason, the EPA believes that glyphosate is totally fine.  This is the same agency that is looking into bringing DDT back.  DDT was banned four decades ago because DDT causes cancer.  However, the EPA will gladly take another check from the manufacturer in an attempt to have DDT make another appearance on store shelves.

Monsanto is currently suing the state of California over the warning label.  If Monsanto wins this lawsuit, then all of the lawsuits in California against Bayer would be thrown out and Bayer would not have to pay out the settlements that they have already lost in 2019.  They have lost three cases in California to the tune of $2 billion (USD).

    • I am curious if you are using any tags on your posts. They don’t have any but I don’t know if you put them on or not. A lot of us have tags that don’t work. They don’t appear with the posts and the posts don’t end up in topics with those tags. I’m trying to ascertain if they work for anyone. Thanks.

      • For the two years I have been on the site, I have only heard of two people saying that the tags worked outside of this site by ending up on Google searches. However, all of the tags work on this site’s search engine.

        • Mine don’t. They son’t show on the post when it’s published and since they don’t exist they don’t work either. I don’t see any on this post. I type in tags and the post doesn’t have them. they don’t work.
          This is the case for lots of people. Thanks for responding. No big.
