The Kowhai Tree flowers in spring, it is unique to New Zealand. You won’t see it anywhere else unless it is exported else where.
The Native birds of NZ love this flower, especially the Tui.
It is one beautiful tree both flowers and leaves.

The flowers are really unique.I just went and searched for pictures of the leaves, I like those leaves as well.
