The photo was taken near the Grosse Point Lighthouse which is located at 2601 Sheridan Road in Evanston, Illinois. It is now a park.
The photo was taken using a Nikon Coolpix P7700 camera. I then used ACDSee Ultimate 10.4 to adjust the lighting and boost the contrast and vibrance.
