For some reason, this Oystercatcher was on it’s own and I could show you a whole bird instead of a flock. It has a very nervous Pipping sound when it flies and the bill looks like a needle.
In a group on the rocks, the flock of Oystercatchers resembles oysters on the rocks. I wouldn’t put it past them to eat the odd oyster.
