The climate in Arizona is quite a bit warmer than that of Colorado. Hence, cacti flourish in the Arizona heat. Despite the prickles and spines, birds still build their nests or homes in cactus. In my opinion, the holes that the birds fashion look very interesting and add character to the cactus. Below, are a few examples.
