Winter Aconite (Eranthis) in a Garden in Chicago (2019-04-02 15-20-14_01)
Winter Aconite – Order Ranunculales : Family Ranunculaceae : Genus Eranthis
The flowers were growing in the garden of a house in the 6300 block of North Wayne Avenue. The plants wew about an inch and a half tall and the flowers were about half an inch in diameter. (Estimate)
I used a Nikon Coolpix P7700 camera to take the photo. Editing was done with ACDSee Ultimate 2019. I cropped the image to a square format and adjusted the white balance. Then I adjusted the lighting, increased the contrast and sharpened it a bit.
