I suppose happiness means a number of different things to different people. A friend challenged me to start a Happiness Habit. I have to admit, I have no idea what that means. It seems like a worthy idea. I simply have to work out the factors and define happiness. Even as I sit here writing it occurs to me that happiness is not always the same and it’s hard to measure.
I am going to begin with one simple statement every morning. I will try to begin each day with a simple phrase each day for the next three days. “I choose to have a happy and bright attitude today.” They are only words and if I say them enough they may turn into actions. At least that is what I am going with for the first part of the theory.
I have also heard that if you go to bed with an intention of sleeping well and getting up with a great attitude that thought plants a seed.
With vague statements like that perhaps even the smallest of things will bring happiness. It certainly can’t hurt.
