Taylor County Deputy Jay Jones assisted a patient in need of his help

Clayton Bolt, 28, of Abilene Texas was in a very tough spot when he needed a kidney transplant from a donor since his illness was causing him to have a bleak output of living with his illness.

The good news is that Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Deputy Jay Jones whose wife is a very close friend of the sister of Clayton Bolt volunteered to donate one of his kidneys to Clayton if after a battery of tests to determine if Jay’s kidney could match Clayton’s kidney that needed to be replaced, then Jay would more than happy to donate a kidney to Clayton so his agony of living with a defective kidney would come to an end.

Clayton could not find any of his relatives that could donate one of their kidneys since their kidneys did not match with Clayton’s kidney needs.

When the word of the good deed that Deputy Jones was going to do to donate of his kidneys to Clayton, Deputy Jones was given high praise by his followers as having a “Heart of gold”.

The operation took place on Wednesday morning in a hospital in San Antonio Texas. After the operation was finished in San Antonio on Wednesday, both Deputy Jones and Clayton Bolt were happy that Deputy Jones donated his kidney to Clayton who now can live his life with a new kidney thanks to an act of generosity by a Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Deputy who did his part to honor his oath to “Protect and serve” the people in his community.
