Having begun divorce proceedings against Roberta, Sam felt a bit in control. His new post at the multi-national was lower than he had held abroad, and he decided to quit and get another job. His parents told him to wait a month, but he didn’t listen, because for him to be given a lower post was an insult he would not abide.
He realised that he should have listened, but so what? He’d take a bit of time off. Needed to clear his head.
Contrarily, he rang up Roberta, demanding to see the children. She refused citing his violent behaviour of last visit.
So here he was, a grown man, living with mommy and daddy and having no job. Just like it was when he attended High School.
His father found him a job, and his mother virtually dressed him, and he attended the interview and portrayed Show Off Sam, and got the job. He would begin in two weeks.
Sam considered this ‘good therapy’. He would have two weeks to retreat to his youth and start again.
However, the fact that his wife had betrayed him was not easily excreted. It eroded his sense of self.
What he needed was a young hot girl on his arm to show Roberta what she had lost. And that became his quest. To find a young really sexy good looking woman to show Roberta that he was Sam the Great.
