HOTEL HELIX

HOTEL HELIX design firm Leeser Architecture won a prize in the contest for a luxury hotel in Zayed Bay in Abu Dhabi. The main feature of the design is that the floors spiral rising from one another, with no clear break. The hotel will use renewable energy sources, by Grove panels, which will be coated with a hotel, be made of polyethylene, which can be recycled and collect energy from the sun and from the wind. The temperature and humidity of the 208 rooms will be governed by internal waterfall. The level of the lobby to the glass curtain closed room under water. Guests have access to lounges, bars, meeting rooms, retail stores, jogging track, gym, spa and a rooftop pool.
