I I used to take care of toddlers, and children of all ages. I tried to be an example of good eating habits, One child liked to eat plain tuna out of the can. It smelled bad lol, but it was healthy to eat, so I made sure I had it on hand for her. She also liked cottage cheese, so I had it on hand for her also. The key to helping children eat better is to dig and dig into the foods they like, and then pick the ones that are best for them.
Maybe take food up to their tree-house that is nutritious. They may just open up to eating about anything as long as they can have service in their tree-house, or some other fun place. That could mean in a tent, or a special made-up room to play in.
Another great way to help children eat better, is to let them help shop and prepare meals or snacks for family and friends.

Reward them
Kids like to dip. Use the dry ranch packet and mix it with yogurt. They will almost anything they can dip.
Excellent tip here Ghostwriter. Yes, kids love to dip a lot lol.
That is usually our problem as a parent but we eat first and tell them how delicious it is. Sometimes it works.
