I feel rumbly grumbly and that is not the choice that I want for my entire day. So I need to take care of my fever, illness, and most of all my attitude and do something different. Perhaps if I put it here I will be more accountable.
-
Take something to drop the fever.
-
Wash a load of clothes.
-
Change the bedding (all of the beds and all of the bedding)
-
Send a thank you card to someone
-
10 Good deeds
Okay, so the washing machine is going, I have taken the medication and I have stripped all the beds that no one is sleeping in. I am still grumbly, so I think perhaps and accountability is in order.
“Most of the shadows of this life are caused by standing in one’s own sunshine.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
I know what the quote means to me and I want to know how you understand it. Will you help me out today by sharing in the comments what you think the quote means?
So today my life goal is a little different based on some thoughts last night, it was fairly sleepless. If I don’t feel hopeful I must find a way to make that change. I cannot expect others to create my hope and happiness. It has to come from me. I have not figured out how to make that happen in the current situation. I know lots of adjustments are required, putting it off one more day is not an option. I need to make this happen and keep it moving up the mountain I created. Ready, Set, Go!
wow, that is an Emerson quote I use all the time!
stay outta my sunshine!
hard to start the day down, glad you have a path to at least one smile!
Sometimes we all have a bad day. Me too. I try to calm down as much as possible and pay attention to the words I say.
The quote is very powerful. It reminds me of how we prevent our own happiness in life, often times not even realizing.
