I do love Dr. Sues. I believe that if given the choice, this would be the quote I would want on the funeral program for my family members. However I had learned over the years that the baby of the family is never allowed to make the choices.
So my decision is simple. I am going to make thank you cards with this quote and when people send their condolences, this will be my thank you card. I understand that most people don’t think about death. In my case it is mentioned daily. I have not been able to avoid the subject, so it seems preparation is the best option.
some may have a problem with the message it’s sending cause if you really read it a few times
you can get SO MANY meanings out of it so maybe this isn’t the BEST quote to be spreading.
Dr. Sues is one of the greatest!
I don’t want it for me, I want no funeral. I want it for my brother, but my sister is in charge. I know my brother would love it, if she insists on a funeral. I believe he has requested no funeral and I believe she will need one to heal.
Things get so complicated and I guess all that really matters is what the living need.
Thanks for giving me the chance to look in my heart. This comment really helped my life.
Sorry, I misunderstood your post.
A lovely quote and it has so much meaning. Very nice.
I too love this quote Trenna. A personal question you don’t have to answer. What about a will? You can put your wishes down in a will.
