Love ItLove It

Confusing Times

I spent thirty minutes trying to understand a conversation I was reading and finally just decided it didn’t apply to me. I don’t know why I was trying so desperately to make sense of it. One of my friends was on the phone and I was reading the back and forth to him and he just kept laughing.

He finally said, “Don’t you know some three-year-old children?”

“Well, do what I do read. Read it all again in a three-year-old voice and mentality and you will see the humor. There is no right or wrong answer it is about who can say it the loudest so everyone will think they are correct.” So he pulled up the same conversation and we played the parts. It was funny and I laughed so hard I cried.

Perhaps there are different ways to appreciate things that I had not considered. The value of laughter is great and I am going to bring it into my life as much as I can.  I still don’t know who was angry with whom and if there is a real problem to solve. I do know he helped me turn it into laughter and for that I will always be grateful. I hope you have some friends like the great ones I have in my life.

What do you think?

  1. Laughter is depression therapy. Of course, one can go the traditional route by asking your doctor to prescribe antidepressants. But it will be much more effective to go to a comedy show and have a hearty laugh. During this time, the facial muscles send specific impulses that have a beneficial effect on the nervous system and brain activity.

  2. At the end of a long day researching and writing sometimes I don’t even know my name leave alone figuring out something I have no idea about. I’ll give you a little childish humor. Yesterday, I wrote a very long article on online casinos in Malaysia. When I was done I was so addle-brained that when my friend called to see how I was doing I just answered the phone fuzzy wuzzy was a bear it was the only thing that still came to mind lol
