BUILDING WITH GARDEN
Studio ODD + Architects has designed residential tower with gardens in Ecuador. Inspired by the local architecture and reinterpret antique garden building facade Common Garden which has 12 floors and a garden with arcades on each of them. Arches function not only as a support structure, but provide space for vegetation at every level. Quito is a city located on the equator, where the sun is always at an angle of 90 degrees and where the seasons do not exist. For this reason, high-rise can easily become vertical ecosystems. Common Garden allows residents to have continuous and direct contact with nature, because every apartment surrounded by its private garden in the middle of a dense urban environment.
