Apathy

It’s finally happened for me. Formally, I was passionate about what I was writing. I was writing because I cared about an issue, a story, a new way to learn something or even things I found interesting.

Things have changed. Hope and interest has been replaced by apathy.  Apathy is lack of interest, enthusiasm, or concern. It is the time when you realize that there is no value in what you are doing. You have no vested interest. The outcome no longer matters. If you are writing, it has changed from ideas to words. If you are singing, it has changed from notes, to noise.

I suppose many have experienced some apathy. I have heard that for some people it comes and goes.
