Texas Rangers pitcher Cole Hamels charitable work in Missouri

<a href="https://alchetron.com/Cole-Hamels" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Source</a>

Texas Rangers starting pitcher Cole Hamels and his wife Heidi have donated their mansion that is worth $9 million dollars and 100 acres of land to a charity group called Camp Barnabas which is a charity that assists children with special needs and illnesses which is located in southwest Missouri city of Table Rock Lake.

It is not everyday that a professional sports star decides to give up their place of residence to a charity to use it as a special school for needy children or those with illnesses like in the case of Cole Hamels and his wife Heidi have done out of the goodness of their heart.

Camp Barnabas Chief Executive Officer Jason Brawner is very thankful for the Coles family to donate their home to a charity that is basically a place for the children to be given a chance to get their lives back on track by being help from ministers.

My hat is off to the generous act by Cole and Heidi Hamels to give back to needy children in southwest Missouri since the mainstream media get their jollies of reporting bad news of sports stars getting in trouble with the law by drunk driving or abusing their loved ones.
