I am sure you have heard of the slogan “There is always a silver lining in the dark cloud”. In this case Rita and Serge Elkhoueiry and their three children had the tragic event of losing their home to a fire in Ashburn Virginia that included their Christmas presents one week ago.
Three days ago members of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Department came to the rescue dressed as Santa Claus riding their motorcycles with their hogs dressed as reindeer giving gifts to the Elkhoueiry family who recently moved from Qatar to live in the United States earlier this year.
The Loudoun County Fire Marshal’s Office determined that the cause of the fire that burned down the Elkhoueiry house last week was a fireplace that was not working correctly which was the cause of the fire that has been ruled an accident and not a criminal act
Members of the Elkhoueiry family are very happy that the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office were able to give them some Christmas presents during their time of sorrow losing their home since they now have made new friends with local police department of Ashburn Virginia as well the community in that city.
It is one thing to lose material objects like a home. That can be replaced, but losing a life in a tragic fire would be devastating to the Elkhoueiry family during the Christmas season.
Thank you very much for this story! Hope that this family will have no troubles in 2018 & other new years! My sincere Christmas wishes – https://virily.com/item/christmas-decor-devoted-mans-best-friend/
Me too since how many children would give up their dream toy to assist needy people today? Not many.
