Pit Children – part 39

As the years passed, Nina, became closer to her cousin, Nancy. Everett would allow Nancy to visit, even stay over. But he would not let his daughter, Nina, go near John’s house.

If Julie tried to argue, Everett closed it down. When it came to his daughter, he made no exceptions.  If Julie didn’t realise that Paul and John were toxic, he did.

What Everett found odd was that his wife oblivious to his sentiments concerning her half-brothers. He realised she wasn’t particularly alert which made him have to be more blunt and strict.

As he noted she shared everything with her brothers, Everett did not share as much with Julie as he should, knowing whatever he said she would tell her brothers as if they owned her.

He hoped Julie would realise who and what they were without him having to make a situation.
