Talk about a young boy who has felt hard times with his relatives a few years ago and he is using his power of generosity to assist people in need during the Christmas holidays.

Mikah Frye, 9, is one amazing young man who put the needs of homeless people in Beachwood Ohio before his wishes during the Christmas holidays when he wanted to purchase a Xbox toy that cost in the neighborhood of $300.

Instead of buying the Xbox game system for himself, Mikah decided to buy 30 blankets that cost $10 dollars each so he could give the homeless in Beachwood a gift to stay warm during the winter.

Mikah’s grandmother Terry Brant taught her grandson to think of other people in need before his needs. The news media in the Beachwood area reported the good deed that Mikah did for the homeless in his community giving up his desire to purchase of video game system to purchase blankets for the needy.

You know the saying “Good deeds are rewarded.” When Microsoft company who owns Xbox heard about the generosity of Mikah through the media in the Cleveland Ohio area, a store where Mikah had bought the blankets decided to reward Mikah with a free Xbox game console that looked exactly like the one he gave up to assist the needy in his community after the story became news in Ohio..

What is amazing of this story is that a young man gave up his favorite toy to assist the needy in his community  first , then the through the power of the news media in Ohio, the Microsoft company as a way of saying “Thank you” to Mikah for thinking of others rewarded him with his Christmas present.

To put it mildly, Mikah shed tears of joy when he received his free gift from Microsoft.
