The field of Architecture should be for those individuals that have a true passion for design. I knew someone that had a great passion in this line of business.
He was the best at what he did
My Dad rests his soul was the best Architect that I had ever known. This man worked hard throughout his life. He knew he needed to find a good line of business, to ensure his family’s future.
My Dad took a night class and got an A for his total grade. His family knew he would be a good architect one day due to the fact he always tried to do his best in everything he did.
Sacrifice with any job
Everyone that has a job should learn how to sacrifice for the good of the business they work for. My dad at times would get a call after midnight. He always sacrificed for the good of the company. He gladly went to the office, even at those hours, when most people were in bed. His boss valued my dad’s efforts to help the company grow into something better.
My dad had to quit his job as an architect designer.
Eyes can take a lot of strain, but after a while it could cause permanent eye damage. His eye doctor told him if he did not quit this line of work, he would probably go blind.
Now my dad had to quit the line of work he was passionate about; however, he did it with pride. His boss told him he would always have a job to come back to if he ever decided to come back.
My dad later found a job working in an office of a telephone company. He was the type of man that did not question what was, he lived in the NOW.
I dedicate this post to my dad who rests up in heaven. Maybe God has given him design plans of his own for him to do. You never know!
My dad taught me to trust that everything in life happens for a reason, and better days would follow disappointments if hope and determination resided within me.
R.I.P Dad I hope you see these posts. I love you!
What a heartfelt tribute to your Dad. I believe he has read these words even before you wrote them LaJenna. He read them from your heart. Beautiful and your Dad was a good hard working man too.
Thank you Carol! i do believe he saw it from heaven and maybe a tear of joy fell to earth,
How sad that he had to quit his dream job
Yes Alex it was sad but he did make many things just not that type of designing. He taught us how to accept change like it or not
That’s a hard lesson to learn, but it is even harder if you don’t learn…
This post and expression of respect for your father. I admire people like him
Thank you for commenting and glad you are back.
A nice post about your dad, who was the best architect
Yes you have many people here that are grateful for your friendship. No accident for any of them
This is a great dedication to your father, LaJenna. As an interior designer, I know a lot about architecture and landscaping, and I quite understand how your dad works with his extraordinary spirit. And I strongly agree with his views, there is always a reason for everything because there is no coincidence.
Thank you wise one! There is a reason for everything I do agree.
Like our friendship, right?
Yes I have grown to think of many Virily members as dear friends and yes you are ONE of them for sure. I have learned a lot from your writing.
So I will continue to be grateful for this friendship.
