Have you ever tasted an empanada? It’s a sweet or savory pastry that can be fried or baked. The filling can be meat, vegetables, or fruit. Per Wikipedia, it’s a popular food in Latin American and Filipino cultures and its origins can be traced back to Spain. When I was a teenager, my Cuban friends introduced me to empanadas. The first one I tasted was filled with spicy ground beef. If you have ever eaten an empanada, then no doubt you will agree that it is irresistible fun food!
