Health benefits of eggs

Just this morning I bought some chicken eggs from a woman who has a lot of chickens and she is feeding them in a natural way without any chemical additions. I love eggs and my family members except my little son. He is a stubborn little guy who doesn’t want to try eggs at all. So, I decided to write an article about health benefits of eggs.

Eggs are affordable foods consumed by people all over the world. Although there are different types of eggs, chicken eggs are the ones most frequently consumed.

Eggs contain numerous vitamins and minerals that are important for a healthy and balanced diet. Eggs are considered to be one of the best protein sources. One average sized egg contains about 5.53g of protein in average. Approximately 12.6% of eggs are the proteins themselves.

One medium sized egg contains about 63 calories. About 9% of oats is the fat we find in egg yolks. Most fats found in eggs are considered healthy: about 38% unsaturated fatty acids, 16% polyunsaturated fatty acids and 28% saturated fatty acids.

Eggs also contain cholesterol. One medium sized egg contains about 164mg of cholesterol. As for the effects of egg cholesterol on health, opinions differ. Some believe it harms health, while some believe it does not harm and actually promotes health.

Eggs contain vitamins and minerals that are needed for the proper functioning of the brain and nerve cells.

Vitamins and minerals found in eggs improve the health and appearance of the skin. They also help prevent premature aging. A strong immune system also contributes to a healthy and beautiful appearance, and eggs can strengthen the immune system.
