What we use for fuel in our bodies can make a big difference is how we feel both physically and mentally. Emotions can change based on poor or wise food choices.
It seems more logical and positive to focus on all the great choices that can be made instead of dwelling on what we must avoid. So let’s get moving on to find some food options that can fuel your body and create that positive impact in emotional wellness.
Let’s begin with a little protein. Protein is a key element for a functioning body. It boosts your energy levels. It is helpful with your ability to think clearly and avoid brain fog, supports the absorption of nutrients and takes care of your bones and muscles. All proteins are not created equally.
The best protein contains Omega 3, so fresh fish is something you should gravitate toward. If you can go fishing and catch it yourself it doubles in value! Nutritionists recommend consuming 700 grams of fish weekly, equivalent to 3 to 4 servings.
Stay tuned for more tips.
I have been drinking Beet powder mix drinks lately for energy. I can not drink coffee, so I had to find an alternative.
My husband purchased some of that a couple of days ago. I don’t know if he has tried it. @LaJenna would you recommend it?
Yes, I would recommend it. I wanted to try Super beets powder that I saw on tv, but I bought something similar at Walmart for about $15.00
Like a car, our bodies do need to be fueled up to keep on going
