I have been pinned up inside all day on this rainy day in Chicago, but a visit to KFC to pick up takeout got me outdoors. I was not able to get a run in today due to it raining all day, but satisfying my taste buds makes up for it. There will always be better days ahead.

KFC was date food for us when my wife and I first met. We would get a box each and ride our bikes to the park for a picnic!
Well, I hope you are taking that woman out for KFC chicken every now and then to keep the fire lit. But then again KFC seems to be a dying breed.
we go to popeyes now and walk or ride bikes to a park!
Trying many of the different chicken shacks in chicago is a goal that I would like to make.
there used to be a jerk chicken place just past the theater district near Michigan avenue that made the chicken so zippy you had to have mile with it!
My coworker mentioned a jerk place near my neighborhood. Not a big fan of the spice of jerk.
it is a really harsh palette of flavor I agree.
The two piece always gets it done. KFC’s or Popeye’s, it doesn’t matter which one.
I totally agree! So many people choose sides, but I honestly could care less which I visit, even though I’d choose KFC if they were side by side because I grew up eating it : )
For me, if I want cole slaw, then I will go to KFC. If I want fries, then I will go to Popeye’s.
You just reminded me how lackluster the fries are at KFC.
