Today, I noticed in my mailbox that I received the Winter 2019 issue of California Style Magazine. I flip through it quickly to notice monochromatic outfits are still popular. I particularly like a patent burgundy pants, worn with burgundy sweater, burgundy pumps and a burgundy purse. The model is also wearing a burgundy belt and watch strap. But I didn’t like the white turtleneck and white short socks. I would wear a burgundy turtleneck and burgundy short socks. Other monochromatic outfits include a Sunset Pink, which is deep to soft shades of pink, different shades of yellow, green, orange, and teal.
Moreover, prints continue to be popular, as well. Houndstooth, floral, plaid, and animal prints are some popular prints.
I notice a lot of fishnet, macrame, and mesh clothing.
Cindy Crawford is on the cover. She looks her age, which is 52. (I am surprised her daughter Kaia isn’t in the magazine. Her teenage daughter is always in the magazine as well as many runway events). Cindy is dressed in a gray checkered pantsuit with matching open skirt over the pants. I don’t think the skirt looks good with the pants. She wears white ankle boots.
Mammoth is highlighted for winter getaway, which is a perfect place for skiing and snowboarding. I have skied in Mammoth back in the 80s. Monochromatic blue shades outfits for the mountains are listed. For eveningwear, consider a metallic leopard print outfit.
Mammoth Lakes is located in the Sierra Nevada area, which is on the California border. Another skiing hotspot in Nevada is Heavenly Mountains. Heavenly is near Reno, Nevada.
I will later write a detailed description of some winter 2019 ideas.
