As of late I have been visiting the thrift store specifically to purchase a trail running bag to carry my drinks and snacks while running on the trail, and tank tops for those hot training runs outdoors. Best believe I always take a look at the selection of running shorts available too because thrift stores tend to be underrated when it comes to running attire. Well, at least some!
After a visit to Lola’s Coney island, which is a restaurant in Chicago known for its Coney Island hot dog I made my way to Village Discount Outlet for a brief look at their items and I stumbled on these two tank tops and pair of spandex shorts. These three items are just a few of the treasures you will find at a Village Discount Outlet in Chicago. And for the record I cannot wait to wear this “I run for cup cakes” tank top during my run. I am quite positive that it will bring out some smiles from a few approaching fitness enthusiasts on the trails.

When I worked in a Thrift Shop I got hooked on them, but, have not found one so far that is on the same level as the one I worked at. You can find some great bargains in them.
I used to visit many, but since I have found a favorite I have chose to stick with that particular one. It just carries everything that I typically look for.
had the chili dogs, jealous!!!!
I walk off cupcakes 🙂
Detroits version of a chili dog. Tastes so good! You’ll have to try it if you ever visit Detroit.
sadly pal, I have and I have 🙂
I love them. Actually just bookmarked two restaurants in Detroit with them.
That chili dog looks good. Plus, they have Faygo as an extra bonus.
That is Detroit’s version of a chili dog, known as the Coney dog. I love them! I will be going to Detroit in October with hopes to try the real deal.
