Norman Brown is one of the best contemporary jazz guitarists of all time. He also is the first jazz musician to be signed by Motown Records way back in 1991. With 2020 on the horizon, we are all looking forward to the new year. Having this optimism, we all must remember that better days are ahead.
This song was from 1996, but fans still request for this song to be played at his concerts now because this song has one of the most historic runs in jazz history. If you do not want to listen to the entire song, then go to 4:21 and be awed by the playing of Norman Brown.
I have never been enthusiastic about jazz, dear Ahol
What type of music do you like, lado?
As a young kid I was an avid rocker and even now I still love to listen to rock … I also love our home music …. with harmonica
I like rock music as well. The last person that I can remember that became real famous from playing the harmonica was Stevie Wonder. I will have to look for some rock songs to be added to future Song Saturday challenges.
Well, give me a good rock song up there … to see if you get to know rock and sports as well
It is the first time in my life that I hear about this artist
I love listening to jazz guitarists. Since you are in Spain, have you ever heard of Marc Antoine? I believe that he is from France, but his style of play on the guitar is Spanish. I will put one of his songs up for next Saturday.
I do not him. I live in the north of Spain, the Spanish guitar is not as popular as it is in the South. I will check it out your post. Thanks.
i’ve heard this one several times – great choice both song and artist!
That is awesome! I knew you liked jazz because jazz is intricate, innovative, and creative just like technology.
it really is, i have actually been in New Orleans during Jazz fest wandering from location to location playing music!
Wow! I didn’t know it, but I needed this! It changed the entire tone of my morning. Thank you.
You are welcome. Jazz always seems to mellow things out for me.
I love jazz. My huaband and I first met in 1986 with our common bond on our appreciation for jazz. Norman Brown was probably one of them. Thank you for sharing.
You are welcome. Jazz music brings good people together.
