Noticing Changes

Monday, July 23, 2018

I woke up and realized that my refrigerator is almost empty. So, I decided to go to Trader Joes. After I parked, I noticed that Veggie Grill has been closed down. Someone inside Traders Joe stated that it has closed down, but there are others still open, such as Tustin Market Place and Spectrum Center. It is sad that this one closed down because it is across the street from my house, and I often like to ride my Huffy there during the summertime. I wonder what happened. I always see this location busy, especially during the morning and noon hours, where many people are sitting outside and eating.

Since I have been getting thirsty a lot in this heat, I decided to get a couple of bottles of fruit flavored sparkling mineral water. Since I still have half a bag of kale, I decided to get some nuts, seeds, and dried cranberries and Turkish apricots to create my own raw vegan fill with a vegan taco shell. I also got Gumby a bag of Holistic dry cat food because his dry food will finish soon. The store looks different because it has been reorganized again. I also noticed that other businesses in the UTC have been closed down. The macaroons place closed down, but I never ate there anyway because it isn’t vegan or vegetarian. Everything is changing, every day.

I watched a movie, Glass Castle, which is sad. By the end of the movie, I realized it was based on the memoir of Jeannette Walls. I don’t know who that is and I have never read her book, but the movie is sad.

Similar movies about people spiraling downhill because of some mental issues include Young Adult, Blue Jasmine, and Hello My Name is Doris but I think these movies are fictional stories.
