The discussion came because of my grandson. Is this a country song? So I listened to it several times. I came to the conclusion that is a crossover song, meaning it may have a place in more than one genre. I thought that might be the end of the conversation, but no. He then wanted some examples of some other crossover songs.
I hummed and hawed. I really didn’t have an example. I sent him to youtube to see what he could find and told him to the come up with a list. I am very interested in the list that he comes up with.
